Courtney:

Courtney:

Courtney:

A stranger’s but familiar voice:

Hi guys, good morning.

Courtney:

Wow! Who’s the old man?

Courtney:

Alex! Be nice, he’s Lance the new kid.

Alex:

Kid??? That doesn’t look like a kid to me!

With Van laughing at the back.

Courtney:

Immature! Come Lance, sit next to me.

Lance:

Professor:

Good morning class, sit down everyone. We’ll begin our class today with… young man, what are you doing here?

Lance:

I…I’m new here.

Professor:

Huh… nobody told me I would have a new student, what’s your name son?

Lance:

Newland, Lance Newland…

Professor:

Newland, Newland, New… you are clearly not on the list, I suggest you go to the principal’s office to make sure you are in fact in this class.

Lance:

Yeah… (With puzzleing words).

Professor:

Although you can stay if you'd like, I don’t mind the interest of the students to learn.

Lance:

When the school period ended Alex, Courtney and Van were walking on the school’s main hallway.

Alex:

God! This school is killing me, why does it have to be so hard?

Courtney:

So how did you like the new guy?

Alex:

He’s weird; I mean it’s weird to be in school with a dude that is older than you.

Van:

I don’t know, I don’t trust him, there's something weird about him as if he's hiding something.....

Courtney:

Oh! You’re not being serious are you Van? He seems like a nice guy.

Van:

I am, I don’t want you near him Court, I don’t trust him.

At that very moment Lance approached them.

Lance:

Hey! Guys! Do you want a ride home?

Courtney:

Yeah sure, Lance.

While Van Looked somewhat upset.

Lance:

Come on Van!

Van:

No, that’s ok, we’ll walk.

Alex:

I’ll…

Van:

Right Alex!?

Alex:
